Glen Driscoll

FOUNDER – KEYSTONE PERFORMANCE LIMITED

Keystone Performance is led by Glen Driscoll, an elite performance leader and strategic advisor with over two decades of experience operating at the highest levels of professional football.

Glen has held senior leadership roles within elite European clubs including Chelsea, Liverpool, Celtic, and Leicester City, leading performance and performance medicine functions under sustained competitive pressure.

His background spans performance medicine, physiotherapy, sports science, and is an expert in training methodology, supported by PhD research in Performance Medicine, training periodisation and injury prevention. Glen was among the early pioneers in the applied use of GPS performance technology in elite football, contributing to the evolution of evidence-led approaches to player availability and performance durability.

Across his career, Glen has worked at the intersection of performance, medicine, and leadership. He has guided clubs through periods of success, transition, and organisational change — ensuring performance systems remain stable, aligned, and resilient as personnel and circumstances evolve.

Over time, Glen’s role has progressed from hands-on delivery into strategic oversight. His work now focuses on helping leadership teams clarify decision authority, govern performance and medical risk, and reduce uncertainty at critical moments. This strategic layer of performance — where medical, physical, and environmental organisation intersect — is helping clubs protect availability, reduce volatility, and sustain performance by identifying structural blind spots, aligning departments, and ensuring that performance systems hold under pressure.

“Strong systems allow people to change without destabilising performance.”
